Nubuck Meets Distressed Leather on Latest Dunk SB

January 01, 1970

Nike Skateboarding keeps its Dunk hot streak going with its latest, the Nike SB Dunk High Black/University Red. The name hardly does it justice though. This isn’t a simple mix of black red. No, the devil’s in the details.

Eschewing the usual leather or suede or canvas, the shoe sports buttery black nubuck through the upper, a cool, fashion-forward option that’s too often overlooked on Dunks. Add to that an eye-popping distressed leather on the toebox and Swoosh, mixing together black with brown, and this thing’s got “premium” written all over it.

You can grab a pair now at select retailers nationwide, including Michigan’s Premier. They’ll set you back $100.
